VESPA BORGO ADVENTURE

Release your inner Audrey Hepburn or Gregory Peck with an exhilarating Vespa adventure around the hills of Chiusdino. Visit ancient towns, historic sites and dine on local cuisine to see Tuscany like a true Italian.

When we travel to Italy, many iconic images often appear: the grandeur of the David statue in Florence, drinking wine al-fresco in a piazza café or vintage Vespas zipping through the cobbled streets of historic cities.

Borgo Santo Pietro has four vintage style Vespas available for hire to guests for three hours or more – strap on that helmet and climb aboard for a Tuscan Borgo adventure to remember. See the local historic sights of the Abbey of San Galgano and Chapel of Montesiepi with the famous sword in the stone. Continue towards Chiusdino, birthplace of Saint Galgano, for a morning walk through the quaint narrow streets of this hill top town before lunch at Bistro dai Galli in Ciciano.

This stunning ride around the surrounding villages of Borgo Santo Pietro has been created by our in-house Concierge and offers the perfect opportunity to explore and see the highlights of the area plus sample sumptuous Tuscan cuisine on two wheels.

For more information on Vespa hire, see Rafael in the reception office.
